Although Cody Simpson recently called it quits with Gigi Hadid, he isn’t letting the breakup stop him from continuing to conquer the music world.

“I’m stoked,” Simpson exclusively revealed to OKMagazine.com when discussing his new relationship status. “Life is full of adventures.”

Although the “Flower” singer has been romantically linked to actress Victoria Justice, he insisted that he is “single” at the moment.

Simpson’s newfound free time comes at the perfect time, as he’s set to release his album Free on June 23.

“A lot of inspiration comes from the process of breaking free,” he explained. “Becoming independent, leaving my record label and starting my own little thing. Doing it by myself has been a really cool, liberating experience. It captures a really raw moment in my life.”

Playing shows throughout the rest of the year, Simpson is focused on performing “as much as possible to get the message out to more and more people over the course of the time.”
