Coheed and Cambria Bass Player, Michael Todd, Arrested on Robbery Charges Before Concert

Just hours before Coheed and Cambria was set to perform on Sunday, their bass player, Michael Todd, was arrested on charges for robbing a pharmacy for prescription pain killers.

According to The Associated Press, police said Michael (or Mic) entered a Walgreens pharmacy in Attleboro, Mass., on Sunday afternoon and showed the pharmacists a note on his phone saying he had a bomb. He then reportedly demanded six bottles of Oxycontin and then took a cab to the Comcast Center in Mansfield, Mass., to join his band where they were opening for Soundgarden.

The 30-year-old was arrested in the Comcast Center before the show on charges of armed robbery and possession of a controlled substance.

The band still played without him, but have now announced that Mic will be replaced.

On their official Facebook page, the members posted a message addressing the incident.

"Michael Todd was arrested today on what we consider very serious charges and therefore he will not be finishing up the current tour," the members wrote. "Wes Styles, long time member of the Coheed family will take on bass duties starting tomorrow for the remaining dates. No shows will be canceled."

"We are surprised to say the least and will address the situation with Michael after the tour," they added. "For now, we just want to have a great time out here and finish with some killer shows in Boston, Poughkeepsie, Quebec City and Halifax."
