On Feb. 16, Britney Spears, looking calm and healthier than ever, embarked on her first real public outing since being admitted to UCLA's psychiatric unit. Accompanied by her father, Jamie Spears and three associates, the former pop star and this new, slightly older entourage dined together at hot new Hollywood restaurant Citrus at Social.

But while her father's influence and control seem to be working, sources tell OK! Brit is far from happy with the status quo. During dinner, eyewitnesses say the singer made several trips to the bathroom, and looked like she wanted to be anywhere but the trendy hotspot.

"She seemed bored," a restaurant insider tells OK!. "You could see the anger boiling up inside her. I never saw her talk to her dinner companions."

OK! has learned, in fact, that a secret battle is raging between the pop singer and her folks, who are trying to keep her on total lockdown in an attempt to get her life back on track.

Britney's father is not allowing her to drink alcohol, see her friends and insists that she prays in her pajamas every night. Jamie has also been encouraging his daughter to teach childrens' classes at her favorite hangout, Millennium Dance Complex.

So far, Britney has been compliant with her dad's rules, but sources tell OK! that the singer is in the midst of plotting her revenge. Britney has been sending secret text messages to her former party pal and cousin Alli Sims and is reportedly working with her and Sam Lutfi to try to oust her father as her conservator.

"She's rebelling," Millennium owner Robert Baker tells OK!. "She's still not at that point where she's mature enough to understand what her dad is doing and how he's trying so hard to help her. Dad has come to stabilize her, but right now she doesn't want it. She's got that teenage rebellion thing going on."
