Cynthia Nixon married her longtime love Christine Marinoni yesterday in New York City.
The coupled released a statement today: "On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera."

The happy pair began dating eight years ago and announced their engagement three years ago, and gay marriage was legalized in the state of New York almost one year ago.
The Sex and City star and Christine share son Max, whom Christine gave birth to last year. And Cynthia has two children from her previous relationship.
