David Cassidy Officially Pleads Not Guilty to DUI Charge

David Cassidy pleaded not guilty this morning to the DUI charge against him.
OK! NEWS: DAVID CASSIDY PLANS TO FIGHT DUI CHARGES
The Patridge Family star was not present in the Florida court today, but his attorney submitted a written not guilty plea on his behalf, TMZ reports.
David could face up to 6 months in jail and a fine of $1,000 maximum if he is convicted. He's due back in court in January.

The actor claimed to have taken pain pills for his back before his arrest and was tired from attending a funeral earlier that morning.
Yesterday, Florida officials reportedly released the dash cam video of David's arrest.
