Dennis Hopper has been released from the hospital after becoming ill Wednesday in NYC. The 73-year-old actor is "feeling much better," the Associated Press reports.
Dennis' manager Sam Maydew said in a statement today that Dennis was showing severe flu-like symptoms and was treated for dehydration.
Dennis was in New York on a publicity trip and had to cancel many of the TV appearances and interviews due to his sudden illness.

Maydew says he is looking forward to getting back to work on his current project Crash, a TV version of the 2004 Oscar-winning film, and is thankful for all of the get well wishes.
