Just weeks after Deryck Whibley and Avril Lavigne confirmed they've split up, the Sum 41 singer appears to be moving on, right into the arms of aspiring model, Hanna Beth Merjos. The new couple was spotted dining together at Stack restaurant in the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas Friday night.
An insider tells OK! the twosome were cuddly and went hand-in-hand throughout the night, sharing appetizers at dinner. Apparently the two had quite an appetite, as they munched on Pigs in a Blanket, the Spicy Crab, Kobe Meatball Pizza, sashimi, Brooklyn Filets, Surf and Turf, Seabass, Taters, Rings, Spinach, Mac and Cheese and Steak Fries, before catching Slash & Friend's 20th Anniversary Concert for The Mirage.
Deryck and Hanna then headed out to party at Jet nightclub. There the lovebirds got close drinking and dancing to the Kings of Leon song "Use Somebody."
"He was very open with his affection towards her and poured her vodka cocktails," the source tells OK!. After heating up the dance floor until just before 3 a.m., they headed back to their hotel together.
A pal of Avril's tells OK! she is "unfazed" by Deryck's public romance, that their marriage has been "over for awhile," and that she wishes them all the happiness.
