Drug Charges Dropped For Jon Bon Jovi's Daughter Stephanie Bongiovi After Overdose

Stephanie Bongiovi, 19, may have a lot of challenges ahead after her arrest and hospitalization for overdosing on heroine, but legal troubles are not one of them.

The daughter of rocker Jon Bon Jovi was was rushed to the E.R Wednesday after she was found unresponsive in her dorm room at Hamilton College in NY.

Charges were dropped against her and her friend Ian Grant who called the police, because of a law in NY which states that a person who overdoses and anyone who helps them seek medical attention shall not be prosecuted.

Oneida County district attorney Scott D. McNamara said, "By law, we cannot prosecute either of these two individuals."

Police reported that drug paraphernalia and heroine were found in Stephanie's room.
