Dwayne McDuffie, Marvel Comic Writer, Dies

Dwayne McDuffie, a comic book writer for Marvel and DC and co-founder of his own publishing company Milestone Media, passed away today. Currently, his age and place of death remain unknown.

According to ABC News, McDuffie wrote famous comics including runs on "Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight," the Fantastic Four and the Justice League of America.

He also wrote "All Star Superman," which was just released, "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths" and animated TV series "Static Shock" and "Ben 10: Alien Force."

He co-founded Milestone Media in 1992 and has won many awards for his comic writing prowess.

McDuffie sent his last Tweet Thursday, keeping fans updated on his script writing.
