DWTS Cristian's Winning Plan

Dancing with the Stars finalist Cristian de la Fuente overcame unsure footing and battled an injured arm to make it to tonight’s finals. It would be his sweetest end if he snags top prize tonight.

But don’t expect to be stopping by his house and hugging up on his trophy if he does.

“If I win, I’m going to give it to Marlee Matlin,” fellow DWTS competitor, Cristian tells the TV Fanatic. “She’s really been an inspiration for me, among all the people who went on the show, and I think she’s the one who really deserves to win it.”

Win or not, DWTS has been “a great experience,” Cristian says. “It’s nice when you read that you can have a goal that you fight for and achieve, even when you have big obstacles. It’s even nicer when you experience it.”

Cristian, that sounds like the biggest prize of all.

Dancing with the Stars, season finale, airs Tuesday, May 20 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
