Edward Furlong, star of CSI: NY and The Green Hornet, was handcuffed, taken to jail and then released this morning after posting bail. His estranged wife, Rachel Kneeland, got a restraining order issued against him this fall and it was all down hill from there.

According to TMZ, Edward violated the restraining order and was hit with criminal charges in November by the L.A. City Attorney. He pled no contest to the violation and was placed on probation.

Next up? A court hearing. Yesterday during the hearing, the attorney informed the judge that Edward violated the restraining order when he came within 50 yards of Rachel. This a major no-no since the restraining order requires him to stay at least 100 yards away from her. The actor was handcuffed, taken into custody and held on $75,000 bail before being released this morning.
