Encore!

We’re safe! Thank you so much for voting! Tuesdays aren’t fun, but it’s nice being the first one named safe!

I was so honored to get the encore! It was fun doing the dance again just for the sake of dancing. It was more relaxed for sure. We both love the dance and the song and to be able to do it again in this ballroom? We felt great that the judges invited us to do that.

One thing I didn’t like was that I had to dance in the lavender costume again! I’m not going to lie, it’s not my favorite outfit! It’s Mark’s favorite outfit! I feel beautiful in it, but like I told Mark, I thought I was showing too much skin. I didn’t want to show my tummy!

I’m going to miss Priscilla Presley so much. The longer this cast is in it together, the closer we all get, so to see someone leave is difficult. We’ve gotten to know Priscilla very well and she brings such grace and class to the dance floor and backstage, so it’s sad. She’s an inspiration to all of us — to watch her go out and go for it. She and Louis van Amstel brought an element of sophistication to the dance floor. They were so sultry and the two of them had great chemistry.

Next week we have the jive. Mark says it will be lots of kicks, leg action and speed. I don’t drink coffee, but I think I might start for the caffeine!
