NEWS'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' Canceled by ABC

Grab the tissue box one final time. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has been canceled by ABC!
Ty Pennington and his crew will be building their final home after ninth seasons.
According to E! News, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will come to a close on Jan. 13, which happens to be its 200th episode. The final home makeover will take place in Joplin, Mo., to rebuild tornado damaged homes of seven different families!

Interior designer Michael Moloney spoke out in a statement about the cancelation of the show.
"I was lucky to have this show as a perpetual reminder of my own blessings, but my work won't stop with the end of the series. It is with a somber heart I close this chapter, but with such excitement I begin the next one."
ABC does say, however, that Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will return for some TV specials.
