Fiona Apple Arrested in Texas For Drug Possession

Singer Fiona Apple was arrested for possession of hashish and marijuana today while her tour bus was inspected at a border stop in Sierra Blanca, TX.

The 'Criminal' singer is on tour to promote her latest album, The Idler Wheel, and is scheduled to perform tonight in Austin, TX but is being held at he Hudspeth County Jail. No word on whether or not she'll have to reschedule the concert.

Note to future artists passing through Sierra Blanca: Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and actor Armie Hammer have also been popped with drug possession charges in the city. Just an FYI.
