According to Donna, Gia and her father Eugene had a falling out right after Mother's Day. Some very harsh words were exchanged leaving Gia devastated. "He told her she was an idiot, she was too stupid and 'You're no daughter of mine, don't call me for Father's Day and lose my number,'" Donna shared. "That was the beginning of her end. I think it just ate her up and then she was picking on her boyfriend." The reality star's mother continued by saying she blames Eugene and told him direct, "It's your fault. You're the reason."

Gia Allemand’s Mom And Ex Jake Pavelka Open Up About Tragic Passing On Tuesday’s Dr. Phil

After hearing the terrible news of his daughter's passing, Gia's dad Eugene spoke with the New York Daily News. He explained that the fight was started because Gia did not send his mother a card. "We had a fight on Mother's Day and I said some things that I regret. I wish I could take them back, but it's too late," Eugene said. "If she were still here, I would tell her I'm so sorry and that I love her and that she will always be my rainbow."
