'GMA' Anchor Robin Roberts Goes Home After Bone Marrow Transplant

Robin Roberts is home from the hospital! The GMA anchor underwent a bone-marrow transplant last month after contracting a rare blood disorder called myelodysplastic syndrome and Robin is now well enough to go home.

She wrote on Twitter today, "There's no place like home. After 30 days in the hospital I'm home. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Thank YOU and bless YOU. XO."

In a video posted on her blog, Robin is singing and dancing in the hospital, overjoyed after hearing the good news.

She writes, "I am considered 21 days old. That's how long it has been since my transplant," she writes on her GMA blog. "Remember when you brought your baby home for the first time? Your precious bundle didn't leave the house much and you were careful that anyone who came in contact with your child was healthy."

In June, Robin revealed she had the disorder and it's believed she contracted the disease due to treatment she received for breast cancer five years ago. Her sister Sally was the donor of the transplant and Robin said, when a bone marrow transplant is done, you "don't have an immune system for a while and you're very susceptible to infection."
