"We are very gratified by the Court's decision which will allow the highly anticipated film, The Hangover II to be released on schedule this week around the world," Warner Bros. said in a statement of the ruling. "Plaintiff's failed attempt to enjoin HII in order to try and extract a massive settlement payment from Warner Bros. was highly inappropriate and unwarranted."

But the judge did rule that the copyright-infringement lawsuit filed by tattoo artist S. Victor Whitmill can move forward.

The tattoo shown on Ed Helms' character in the film is similar to Mike's, which Whitmill had a copyright on. But the studio reportedly claims the tattoo is covered by the First Amendment.

While that case continues, at least we can all go see the film this weekend!
