Heidi Klum Cancels Her Annual Halloween Bash For a "Very Haunted Christmas"

The Big Apple will be a lot less glittery tonight.

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, which left NYC and its surrounding areas powerless and under water, Heidi Klum has made the executive decision to cancel her annual Halloween party.

"I hope you & your loved ones are safe after this devastating storm in the New York City area," she Tweeted. "For obvious reasons, I am canceling my Halloween party scheduled for tomorrow night. I hope to postpone for the near future... maybe a very Haunted Christmas? I hope everyone understands and stays safe."

Heidi has thrown a massive All Hallow's Eve party for over a decade and is known to spend inordinate amounts of time on her costume. In the past she's dressed as a rotten apple, a human body without skin, an alien and a Hindu goddess with eight arms.

This year's Cleopatra costume was already constructed, but she'll no doubt find a use for it celebrating the holiday with her four kids.
