"Steve 'Puppet the Psycho Dwarf' Lee Richardson unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his home in the morning," said the statement. "He was beloved by many and has many friends that were family, fans that adored him, but only his brother Jim and wife Steph left to take care of final arrangements."

Lee began his on-camera pro wrestling career on the pay-per-view series NWA: Total Nonstop Action in 2002 and went on to create the Half-Pint Brawlers organization, which later became a reality series on Spike TV in 2010.

After appearing as himself in Johnny Knoxville’s 2010 reality comedy film Jackass 3D, he was on American Horror Story: Freak Show in 2011 and was later cast as a Munchkin in the Oz The Great And Powerful in 2013.

IMPACT wrestling posted on Twitter on September 10 after hearing about the tragic news. "It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Stevie Lee, better known as "Puppet The Psycho Dwarf" in the early days of TNA," the tweet read. "We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family."
