A teleconference was held today between lawyers for Debbie Rowe, the mother of two of Michael Jackson's children, Prince Michael I, and Paris, and the King of Pop's mother, Katherine Jackson, in the hope that the parties would be able to resolve their differences before Monday's scheduled hearing. Apparently, the two sides were farther apart than the judge had hoped.

Today's teleconference did not yield any substantial progress in the battle over Michael's children, so the judge has decided to push back Monday's hearing until Aug. 3, which is also the date that the court is to make a final decision on who is the executor of Michael's estate.
