Jane Lynch "Tickled Pink" to Be Hosting 2011 Emmys

Jane Lynch has officially been named the host of the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards!

"I am tickled pink to be hosting the Primetime Emmys on Fox," Jane said in a statement (via PopEater). "I'm looking forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit."

Last year, Jane won an Emmy for her role as cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on Glee.

"Jane was my first — and only — choice as the host for this year's Primetime Emmys, and I am glad she said yes," Mark Burnett, executive producer of the show, explained in a statement. "She has incredible comedic timing, and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage. I am thrilled and excited to have her as our host."

The 2011 Emmy nominations will be announced on July 14; the show will air live on Sunday, Sept. 18, on Fox!
