Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Celine Dion To Pay Tribute To Whitney Houston In Star Studded TV Special

The music industry lost an icon in February with the passing of Whitney Houston and now her peers are getting together to honor her in a television special.

Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion and Usher are among the performers that will belt out the late diva's hits for the "We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston" special which will air in November.

The show will include Whitney's "most memorable performances" and interviews with artists sharing their thoughts on The Bodyguard star.

Tickets went on sale today and more artists on the bill will be announced in the coming weeks.

"I Will Always Love You - The Best of Whitney Houston" compilation album will be released on November 13.

Whitney died on the afternoon of the annual Clive Davis pre-Grammy party in a Beverly Hills hotel at the age of 48 with cause of death blamed on accidental drowning which was complicated by her heart disease and years of cocaine use.
