Jennifer Hudson is set to make her television comeback with her own ABC Christmas special, Jennifer Hudson: I'll Be Home for Christmas, airing in December.

The Dreamgirls star will share childhood memories of growing up in Chicago and the people and places that played a part in her career.

Jennifer, who is mom to two-month-old David Daniel Otunga Jr, will film musical performances in various locations throughout the Windy City.

The singer performed in New York for The Wizard of Oz Netflix concert at Central Park's Rumsey Playfield on Sept. 30, and she raved about her baby with her fiancé, former I Love New York 2 contestant, David Otunga.

"There are no words for it," the 28-year-old said. "He's the best. It's just amazing – us discovering each other, me becoming a mom."

ABC says a date and time for the hour-long music special haven't yet been scheduled.
