According to American Idol executive producer, Nigel Lythgoe, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler's Aerosmith are likely to perform on the show before the finale!

XfinityTV.com reportedly chatted with Nigel at the So You Think You Can Dance auditions in L.A. and asked whether J.Lo and Aerosmith will perform on the finale of Idol.
“It will probably be before that, actually," Nigel said.
Any more details to share?
“Actually, no, I told you that," he explained. "It’s before then.”

And for those rumors that Steven and Aerosmith's guitarist's Joe Perry aren't on speaking terms?
