Jessica Simpson: John Mayer's Playboy Interview "Gave Away My Game"

Jessica Simpson still hasn't forgiven John Mayer for describing her as "sexual napalm" — because he's revealed her seduction secrets.

"Now why doesn't the guy know better than to say things like that?" David Letterman asked on the Late Show last night.

"Normally you would think that somebody you care about would keep those intimate details to himself," said Jess.

"I mean, it was definitely a compliment — in a way — but I don't really want people to know that about me. I'm like the good girl, and then that happens."

Dave then pointed out that she could be both. "See, that's the thing. I am," she said. "But he gave away my game!"

She added: "He never really complained, but I didn't know it would be in Playboy."

Although she has not talked to John since the issue hit the stands she said: "I will always care about him. I think he's a great person, a great musician. But I was very disappointed by the article."

She thinks highly of another ex-boyfriend, Tony Romo, who she says is "still a dear friend of mine" even though they split after two years of dating this past July.

"We're big Dallas Cowboys fans," she says of the Texas-based Simpson clan. "I still look at his cute butt in the outfit — uniform!"

So, what went wrong? "I don't know," she says. "You'd have to ask him that. He broke up with me on my birthday!"
