Jessica Simpson Reveals What's Wrong with Her Second Pregnancy

Jessica Simpson talks baby with Ellen Degeneres!

"The first pregnancy I kind of let loose and ate everything I wanted to eat and I just really enjoyed it," Jessica says on Wednesday's episode of Ellen. "This time around…I'm not really craving as much and I know how hard it is to get off the weight, so I'm trying to make healthier, wiser decisions."

Jessica explained that she and her fiance, Eric Johnson, were shocked to discover she was pregnant again just seven months after she gave birth to their daughter Maxwell. “Apparently, protection just went out the window," she says. "I feel like I’m always pregnant. We’re very happy.”

"With Maxwell, I felt amazing," continues Jessica. "I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted. I had a lot of energy."

This time around? "I’m, like, exhausted," says the star. "Eating Tums. That’s my snack of choice.”

So is Jessica having a boy or a girl?

“Well I don’t know,” she tells Ellen. “I haven’t said what it’s going to be yet.”
