Justin Bieber & His New Haircut Battle NHL Legend Wayne Gretzky in Air Hockey

Justin Bieber is usually the one making jaws drop with his adorable presence, but the tables have been turned! The 16-year-old pop sensation met one of his idols today during his appearance on The Talk. NHL legend Wayne Gretzky surprised The Biebes (a huge hockey fan) for a little one-on-one time on the air hockey table!

First, co-host Holly Robinson Peete battled JB, and when the score was tied 1-1 enlisted help of special guest, Gretzky, Entertainment Tonight reports.

JB was stunned and elated to meet one of his idols.

Fans in the audience chanted "Bieber! Bieber!" as the Canadian-born duo battled it out on the table, each scoring on one another.

Gretzky's younger daughter Emma gave Justin a special, autographed hockey jersey, after their match.

After the hockey legend departed, Justin quipped with the ladies of The Talk , "Why'd you do that? You made me look like a groupie or something," adding "I'm a huge fan and it was really great to meet him."

Justin Bieber a groupie? Never!

It must have been nice for Justin to have a little fun amid his array of TV interviews and promo gigs.

"Had a rough morning. Thanks for everyone bearing with me and sorry to those shows I couldn't call in to" he Tweeted earlier today, followed by "but still hyped about #GRETZKY !!!"
