Justin Bieber Says "If I Hadn't Found Music, My Life Would Have Been Bad"

Calling all Beliebers!

In a revealing new interview, Justin Bieber indicated his family was pretty poor and if he hadn't made it big in music, his future family would have been poor, too.

He told The Daily Mail, "My family are all poor, so the cycle would have continued. My kids would have been poor, and their kids would have been, too.”

He added, “I feel I broke the cycle, and when you get to break the cycle, you don’t go back. If I hadn’t found music my life would have been bad.”

And now that he's made it big, the Biebs says he wants to "create an empire." In fact, the pop star wants people to know he doesn't "just sing songs."

For instance, remember Carly Rae Jepsen's huge summer hit, "Call Me Maybe?" Well, he helped launch her career and has invested in "start-ups and IT." He pointed out, "The education I've had you couldn't get in any school."

And he keeps it clean. Although he hangs out with pals from One Direction, he's quick to add,  I keep my distance when they go to clubs to have their fun – I go home.”

"Drinking is definitely one way, but it’s not for me. I still want people to think I’m a good person, a good influence. I want to be around tomorrow.”

Awww, we weant him to be around tomorrow, too!
