Justin Bieber may be on track to beat out Beyoncé and Britney Spears, but not in record stores — in the beauty department! The 17-year-old singing sensation just launched his fragrance for women, Someday, at Macy's last week, and the fruity scent is projected to make big bucks for the department store.

“This is going to be the biggest launch we’ve ever had,” Muriel Gonzalez, Macy’s executive vice-president and general merchandise manager of cosmetics, fragrances and shoes, told Women's Wear Daily.

WWD also noted that Bieber's record to break would be the one belonging to Beyoncé, who launched her Heat fragrance, also at Macy's Herald Square, in February 2010. The scent reportedly sold $3 million at Macy’s in the first month of it's release.

The Hollywood Reporter noted that Someday could earn "up to $30 million in sales."

And to think Justin just set out with a modest goal — to make girls smell "flowery & fruity."

“I just think that what we decided to do — making the fragrance for females, not getting a cologne for males — I said it before and I’ll say it again: I’m more concerned about how girls smell because I’m a guy, and I know what smells good, and I know what I like, so girls should know, if I like it, then other guys are going to like it,” he told MTV news on the purple carpet at his launch.
