Katherine Heigl is taking a break from Grey's Anatomy to spend time with her baby daughter Naleigh, a special needs infant, whom she and her husband Josh Kelley adopted from South Korea in September.
"Sources confirm to me exclusively that she’s taking another leave of absence from Grey’s — but this time her reasons are personal, not professional," says Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello.
"Heigl will be going on a belated maternity leave to spend some QT with new daughter Naleigh."

Katherine's character Izzie will be absent from a string of episodes on the ABC drama, starting early 2010.
The year old baby's name is a contraction of her full name Nancy Leigh, for the Ugly Truth actress' mom and Leigh from Katherine's sister Margaret Leigh.
