It's a sad day in the world of UK reality TV as Katie Price and Peter Andre have decided to call it quits after more than four years of wedded bliss and two children together.
In a statement released to Perez Hilton, a rep for the couple confirms the news.
"Peter Andre and Katie Price are separating after 4 and a half years of marriage," reads the statement. "They have both requested that the media respect their families’ privacy at this difficult time."

The couple married in September 2005, only a few months after the birth of their first child together, Junior Savva Andreas Andre. In June 2007, they had their second child together, a daughter named Princess Tiáamii Crystal Esther Andre. Katie has a son, Harvey, from a previous relationship.
Katie, who first became known as "Jordan" in the UK, and Peter have been reality TV staples in their home country for the last several years. They even made an attempt to bring their show with a short-lived series on E!.
