In the feel-good story of the day, and The Fray have opened their hearts and wallets to help an ailing stagehand.

On Aug. 1, a 57-year-old stagehand in Phoenix, Ariz., suffered a hemorrhagic stroke while setting up for their tour. He was rushed to the hospital but, according to TMZ, he didn't have health insurance. He was eligible for it but had not elected to sign up.

After the stroke, a concert promoter approached the musicians to sign a get-well card. Lo and behold, the entertainers went above and beyond to donate money to the stagehand! Along with other people involved in the production, a total of $2,200 was donated to the man, who is still in ICU. The stroke victim's family has now set up a fund to pay additional medical bills.
