Is Khloe Kardashian Odom Okay? Lamar Odom Takes Break From Basketball to Deal With "Family Matter"

Something big is going on with the Kardashian clan as Lamar Odom's Dallas Maverick's coach let it be known that the basketballer is taking a break to deal with "a family matter." Is everything okay with Khloe Kardashian Odom?

Lamar was noticeably absent on the court last night as the Mavericks took on his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, and it wasn't until a half an hour before tip-off that the reason for his absence was revealed. 

"He has been excused to tend to a family matter," coach Rick Carlisle told reporters before the highly anticipated match-up. "He will rejoin us after the All-Star break."

That break takes place this weekend, so as of now, Lamar is expected to return to the court sometime next week.

“Lamar’s dad is gravely ill, and he wanted time off to be with him,” a source close to Lamar tells RadarOnline.com about his estranged father Joe. “Khloe and Lamar were really upset about the news about Joe. They’re putting their schedules on hold right now to be there for him.”

Khloe Tweeted, "Well if its not one thing its another...I guess I can say life is never boring," before later writing, "Weird day..."
