According to ESPN.com, Lamar says that the agreement was "mutual" and is "sorry that things didn't work out better for the both of us."
But Khloe, who packed up her life and took a leap of faith by moving to Dallas to be there for Lamar, is crushed by the Mavericks decision to part ways with her husband.
"Never a dull moment," she Tweeted this afternoon, adding a personal message to Lamar: "U deserve so much better. Know ur worth and know ur skills that have been proven and earned! U showed ur strength, I love u."
Khloe recently began hosting her own radio show in Dallas, a job that may be in jeopardy now that Lamar will no longer be playing.

"Heading to LA today because I am doing the Ellen show tomorrow," Khloe Tweeted. "Why do I always have to leave when there is so much to do. I love Dallas :(."
And despite some of the negative backlash that Khloe and Lamar have been receiving after the news broke of his departure from Dallas, Khloe is thankful to all those fans who are supporting them throughout this tough time.
"I love you guys!!! I have such amazing FRIENDS on twitter!!!" she wrote. "Yes you are my FRIENDS!!!!"
