Killers' Saxophonist Tommy Marth Commits Suicide

Tommy Marth, saxophonist for The Killers, committed suicide earlier this week, E! News confirmed today. He was 33.

A statement posted on the band's Facebook page and Twitter reads: "Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There's a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy."

Tommy joined The Killers in the studio in 2005 and began touring with them in 2008. He contributed to their second and third albums, Sams' Town and Day & Age. Tommy was also very well-known in Las Vegas from playing with Big Friendly Corporation and Black Camaro.

He is survived by his parents and two siblings. Our prayers with them. R.I.P., Tommy.
