Kings of Leon Cancel Concert Over "Unsanitary" Pigeon Poop

Kings of Leon cut a Friday night concert short after they were pelted with pigeon poop.

The "Use Me" rockers canceled their show at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St. Louis, MO, three songs in after being bombarded by the birds' bowel movements.

The Nashville-based band performed “Taper Jean Girl,” the third song of their set when drummer Nathan Followill Tweeted, “So sorry St. Louis. We had to bail, pigeons sh***ing in Jared Followill’s mouth and it was too unsanitary to continue," reports Just Jared.

He continued: "FULL REFUNDS 4 ALL. SO SORRY. Don’t take it out on Jared, it’s the f***** venue’s fault. You may enjoy being s*** on but we don’t. Sorry for all who traveled many miles.”

“I’m surprised they stayed on for as many songs as they did,” said Andy Mendelsohn, who reps the Kings of Leon. “Jared was hit several times during the first two songs. On the third song, when he was hit in the cheek and some of it landed near his mouth, they couldn’t deal any longer.
