Kristen Stewart on Going Topless For 'On the Road': "It Didn't Bother Me"

Kristen Stewart walked her first red carpet since the news broke she cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with married director Rupert Sanders recently to promote her new film On the Road. She goes topless in a few scenes, but the nudity wasn't a problem for her.

She told MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival, "It didn't bother me. You can do no wrong with director Walter Salles. He puts so much inside of you. In the four-week rehearsal process, it was okay to ask any question, to bring up any story, to really over analyze everything and intellectualize everything."

"Once we got on set, it was so about just breathing and letting it happen. He put so much trust in us," she continued. "So it was like, 'OK, so I have to take my clothes off?' It's so not a big deal," she added.

Kristen first committed to this project when she was just 17, but is so relieved worked on the film at the age she's at now.

"I should have definitely been older than 17 while playing this part, absolutely," she said. "My performance would have been done very differently if I was younger. I wouldn't have played the part, obviously."
