ArchiveOK! Exclusive: Kristen Taekman Talks Making Bethenny Frankel Cry On RHONY: ‘That Was Ridiculous’

Kristen Taekman found herself at the center of drama on her debut season of Real Housewives of New York when Ramona Singer cut her lip after throwing a wine glass at her – and this season the model is feuding with another Housewives vet: Bethenny Frankel!
The reality star exclusively opened up to OKMagazine.com about her fights with the Skinny Girl mogul and if they’ve buried the hatchet.
In a recent episode, Carole Radziwill told Taekman that Frankel called her “dumb” for not trademarking the name of her nail polish line, Pop of Color. When the model confronted Frankel in a later episode, she explained that the name is too similar to another company’s.

“She wasn’t talking about whether or not my company was trademarked, but it was a matter of she didn’t like the name,” she exclusively revealed. “I just feel like, ‘Alright that’s that…thanks for that awesome support.’”
Singer started up drama with Kristen again by accusing her of “attacking” Bethenny once she walked into the room over if they needed to change the dates for their trip to Turks and Caicos. With Frankel leaving the room in tears, Taekman insisted that the scene was “misconstrued.”
“She had been there on the phone for at least 10 minutes plus and there were definitely other conversations that were happening and I wanted to be a part of the conversation,” she explained.

Taekman even called Frankel’s outburst “ridiculous.”
“The last time I saw her, she walked away from me, so you know, it's hard to have sympathy for someone as a friend," she said of when Frankel refused to talk about the "dumb" comment at first.

"All I asked was, 'Hey, what’s going on with the vacation…blah blah blah the dates,' and she goes off on a tangent and starts crying,” she explained. “I wasn’t being rude about her family situation. At that point I didn’t even know it had to do with her daughter, so that was really unfair for people to pin that on me.”
As for their relationship today, Taekman hinted that the fighting between the women is far from over.
“We definitely have more moments together, and you know, it still kind of surprises me,” she said. “Our relationship, not necessarily good or bad.”
