From just another blonde girl living in Laguna Beach, California, to full-fledged reality TV star and fashion designer, Lauren Conrad has had quite a transformation in the past few years. And now The Hills star is taking on yet another title – author.

The three-book series, L.A. Candy, loosely based on Lauren's life, revolves around the story of a girl who moves to L.A. and finds herself starring on a reality show, befriending the famous, looking for love in the spotlight and also realizing that all is not what it seems in her glittering new world.
