Only hours after reports hit the web that Lindsay Lohan and girlifriend Samantha Ronson had split after a nasty Valentine's Day argument, the actress told OK! the only thing keeping her and her gal-pal apart is an ear infection.
"She's sick. She's in L.A.," LiLo explained to OK! on Sunday night at the opening of the new Matthew Williamson store in NYC. "Everything's fine. I just sent her food from Jerry's Deli, but she slept through the guys banging on the door. So I was texting her saying, 'I'm going to the event, there's food outside the door.'"
This latest round of breakup buzz surrounding the pair comes after they were photographed in an apparent argument on Saturday night, with Sam repeatedly hollering, "I'm sorry!" to her I Know Who Killed Me star companion.
Lindsay also talked to OK! about another topic that's had her in the headlines of late — her recent dramatic weight loss.
"I did't lose it intentionally," she said. "I'm eating as much as I always eat."
The actress chalks it all up to having too many things on her plate, career-wise at least.
"I think I'm just working a lot and the stress of that and lack of sleep and my travels," she explained. "I think it's just all that that adds up."
