Lindsay's Antics Are Nothing New, Says Friend

When OK! caught up with Lindsay Lohan's gal-pal Samantha Ronson before the VMAs in Las Vegas, the superstar DJ explained why no one should be stunned by the intoxicated antics of her good friend or Amy Winehouse. "I doubt that anybody is that much worse today than celebrities were in the past," Samantha says to OK!, referring to Hollywood's long history of substance abuse and self-destructive behavior. "I think that people could have been doing all that stuff years ago but we just didn't hear about it. Now it's just so exposed and out there. People even want to know what's under your socks when you're in the limelight."
