Mark Cuban’s billions couldn’t keep him from being eliminated from Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday.

After his I Dream of Jeannie–inspired samba routine with partner Kym Johnson didn’t move enough fans of the hit ABC reality show, the business tycoon found himself in an unfamiliar position — on the losing end of the deal.

“Because I’m competitive, I’m disappointed. I wanted to keep going on. But at the same time I’m realistic,” said Mark, 49, who had no previous dance experience. “The whole thing was a blast.”

He’s looking forward to spending time with wife Tiffany and their two children, ages 4 and 1.

“The next step is to go home and spend a lot of time with my kids,” the Dallas Mavericks owner told OK!. “The basketball season starts, so the timing actually wasn’t bad. We start a week from tomorrow. I’ll kick right into basketball and being a dad again. My wife was telling me my daughter was saying, ‘I miss my daddy,’ and rubbing the TV screen. As fun as it’s been and as proud I am of what we’ve accomplished, you learn real quickly family is the most important thing.”

Mark got something else worth a lot from his five-week stint on the show—a brand new body. “I’m down 34 pounds,” Mark told OK!. “I was about 225. Now I’m at 191. It’s incredible. My wife is grabbing my arms now, feeling my stomach.”

When asked how he’ll maintain the weight loss after leaving the show, Mark said, “That’s the question of a lifetime. I’ll just start working out. My eating habits have changed a lot and I’ve learned about what takes the weight off now. I can stay on a bike and instead of really trying to push it, stay on there for an hour and then come back at night and do the same thing to match the Kym Johnson super-duper workout!”

Meanwhile, the basketball tycoon is ready to buy another sports team — the cursed but beloved Chicago Cubs baseball team. The match could be a perfect fit, as Mark’s last name already starts with C-U-B. “Put the Cub in Cuban,” he smiled to OK!. "I’m very interested in buying the Cubs. It’s a business process and I have to go through the process.”
