Wedding bells will be ringing on the June 4 episode of Melissa & Joey, but it wasn't always the way series stars Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence envisioned the sitcom playing out.

"Joey and I always swore in the beginning we will not let them get together at all the entire series unless it’s done so smart and so right and these guys (the writers) have been able to do it," Melissa told reporters on set of the big matrimonial ep.

The actress dons a gorgeous Ines di Santo gown from Lovella Bridal and notes this is not her first time rocking a fancy white dress on television.

"The last season of Sabrina I felt like every episode I was in a wedding dress," recalls Melissa. "And then six months later I got married for real. And then Joey and I did a movie called My Fake Fiance and I was in a wedding dress for that. On ABC Family they ran my wedding on a show called Tying the Knot and it was our wedding that we had in Italy."

So what sort of skills does a girl gain from playing the bride so many times?

"I would win the gold if there was an Olympic sport for peeing while wearing a wedding dress,"she laughs. "I would so win that."
