After a rough patch following her stint on the Bachelor and a hard breakup with ex- boyfriend Jason Mesnick, Melissa Rycroft has moved on and was finally married to her doting fiancé Tye Strickland this Saturday afternoon, E! Online reports.
According to E! Online, the couple exchanged vows today in an intimate ceremony in Mexico after Tye, a Texas-based insurance agent, proposed in June.
Melissa, 26, walked down the aisle in a stunning Alfred Angelo gown as former Dancing with the Stars partner Tony Dovolani and Bachelorette buddy Jillian Harris, who is also headed to the alter, watched in the wings, E! Online reports.
“She is just the perfect girl and fiancée,” Strickland gushed about Rycroft to OK! in August, “She cooks for me, scratches my back, listens to me. She just bought me sunglasses for no reason. She’s probably the most loved person that I know.”
And with such kind words for his now wife, Tye and Melissa agree that they were meant to be together.
“It’s definitely fate that brought us together. We’re soul mates!” Melissa revealed to OK! while out in LA.
