Miley Cyrus on Getting Married: "I Don't Really Need the Paper Right Now"

Although Miley Cyrus is looking forward to tying the knot with Hunger Games hottie Liam Hemsworth, the singer won't be walking down the aisle anytime soon.

She told reporters on the red carpet of the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, "I'm really excited to, obviously, get married, but I kind of already feel married. I know we are forever. I don't really need the paper right now, so I'm just really trying to work."

The 19 year-old is currently focusing on her fourth album, which is expected be out in 2013, but you don't have to wait that long to hear tracks of her new material.

"I'll have a single out this year. This is the first time I get to tell people about it, so I'm really excited! I'm really proud of the album," she added. "It's my favorite thing I've done, probably ever. It's all really different."

The former Hannah Montana star has been making headlines lately for her bold blonde pixie haircut rather than her music, but Miley doesn't seem to mind.

"It's so easy. The only thing that's hard is that it's the only thing that people want to talk about. People are like, 'Oh, I didn't recognize you!' I'm like, 'I know, but I love it, and it's really me and it's good.'"
