One person was killed today when a tour bus belonging to Miley Cyrus overturned outside of Richmond, Va. The 16-year-old Hannah Montana star was not on board, the Associated Press reports. Sergeant Thomas Molnar said the bus overturned around 8:15 a.m. on Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie, Va., about 40 miles south of Richmond.

One of the other passengers had minor injuries, the AP reports. Police would not identify those aboard.

A wrecker arrived later this morning to haul away the black-and-maroon luxury tour bus, which was on its side in a ditch off the highway where it had apparently skidded for several hundred feet, according to the AP.

TMZ reports that officials also confirmed the driver of the bus was the only fatality.

Officials are investigating whether the driver died before the crash or after — which could explain why the bus drifted off the road, according to TMZ.

A rep from Dinwiddie Fire and EMS told TMZ the bus had been carrying Miley's concert production crew with 14 passengers on board.

Miley's manager tells TMZ, "It was one of our tour buses, but not Miley's. It was one of our buses that transported our lighting crew."

According to Miley's' Web site, the pop star is scheduled to perform Sunday in Greensboro, N.C.
