Now that the adult stars of Modern Family have struck a lucrative deal for the fourth season, the kid actors on the hit ABC comedy want a bigger chunk of change, as well!

OK! NEWS: MODERN FAMILY CAST REACHES DEAL, SET TO BEGIN FILMING ON MONDAY

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that the four young stars -- Rico Rodriguez, Sarah Hyland, Nolan Gould and Ariel Winter -- are set to begin their contract negotiations this week. Apparently they were waiting until Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ed O'Neill completed their negotiations.

And if they follow in their onscreen parents' footsteps, three of them (Rico, Nolan and Ariel) have talked about banding together as a unified group to create more power in their negotiations. It sounds like Sarah will also renegotiate her contract — but she came to the show earning more than her kid co-stars because she had film and TV credits such as Lipstick Jungle and One Life to Live.

According to THR, it's unclear as to what their currently salaries are, but reps say a 10-year-old actor on a first-year series probably earns between $10,000 and $12,000 each episode. They could have gotten small salary increases along the way.

It sounds like no matter what happens, even though these kids are certainly scene stealers in their own right, they probably won't walk away with bank like their adult co-stars. The big folks landed a percentage of back-end revenue in addition to earning about $175,000 for each episode of this upcoming season and about $350,000 for each episode of a potential season eight.
