Mo'Nique's Husband is Free to Cheat

Ever unconventional, Mo'Nique pursues her career according to her own rules, and the same applies to her marriage: Her husband has a free pass to cheat on her.

“Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes. That’s not a deal-breaker,” the actress told Barbara Walters in the interviewer’s upcoming Oscar special.

“That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage.’

And if he strayed multiple times? “What if it’s 20 times?” she said. “So what? We’ve been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are.

"Oftentimes, people get into marriages and they don’t know who they’re laying next to. I’m very comfortable and secure with my husband.”

However, Mo’Nique clarified that if their union isn't a traditional open marriage. “Let me say this: I have not had sex outside my marriage with Sidney,” she explained.

And while most women are waxing, shaving and Nair-ing away their unwanted body hair, Mo'Nique is proud to show off her hirsute limbs.

“He loves the hairy legs,” she said. “And if Sid likes the hairy legs, there you go… I’m 42 and very hairy.”

Keeping her from shaving her stems, she added, was a single bad experience.

“I tried shaving one time, and it was so uncomfortable and painful,” she said. “I said, ‘Never again would I do that to myself.’”
