Although Drew Barrymore recently gushed about the possibility of directing Eclipse, the third movie in the Twilight series, saying, ""I'm one of the directors that is being talked about, which is great, because I'm a director now," it looks like she won't be getting anywhere near hunky Robert Pattinson and the rest of the vampires.

Variety reports that Summit Entertainment has signed on Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona, a protege of Guillermo Del Toro, instead. Bayona helmed creepy thriller The Orphanage and is currently attached to another thriller, Hater.

It seems Summit is going for a new angle on each movie, with each piece having a different director on set: Twilight was helmed by Catherine Hardwicke; New Moon will be directed by Chris Weitz, and now Bayona is on for Eclipse. As for Breaking Dawn, fans will just have to wait and see.
