I’ve slipped on writing the past few days, but I won’t fall off the radar as I have in the past. Been a lot of planes, trains and automobiles the last few days as I went from NYC to LA to Boston, to NYC and back to LA tomorrow.

After landing in Boston the other day, the day before James Franco was bestowed with Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Award by two men dressed in drag, as is tradition, Sir Richard Branson came on the plane and walked us off – dressed in drag. Sir Richard was wearing a red, white and blue sequined mini number with tights, fuschia stilettos and a blonde wig. I couldn’t help but exclaim, ‘You never cease to surprise and amaze me.” Upon hearing my comment he smiled and pinched my cheeks. I may have blushed. No, it’s not a crush, just sincere admiration and amazement.

The next day I took the train to NYC. I love trains. My friend Angie and I sat at a table, she worked on a book and I blogged and read magazines. It was the most relaxing thing I’d done in weeks.

Since being in NYC I’ve aimed to be a bit AWOL because was technically ‘on vacation’ so my Fashion Week festivities were limited to attending the Charlotte Ronson show, full of bondage-like leather, a very slight looking Lohan in the front row and Samantha behind the DJ booth. I skipped out on the after party at The Elderidge that night where I missed yet another Lindsay/Samantha tiff.

And, last night, only several steps away after having dinner at nearby Gemma in the Bowery Hotel, I make the call to skip Paris  Hilton’s bday at Butter, complete with a several-tier pink birthday cake, and opted to go home and watch Gossip Girl. It was a repeat so I watched House.

Today I went to Diesel’s runway show where Nicole Richie and Kate Bosworth were in the front row and I ran into my magnificent friend Eden, the only person who I’ve ever trusted to fit me with sunglasses (I have a wardrobe of them). Seeing me wearing eyeglasses just to see the runway, after the show she led me back to a suite she had at the AKA Hotel and fitted me with a pair of Balenciaga eyeglasses. Wahoo.

Ok, I gotta go. So much to do, so little time. Got another fashion show, party and two birthdays tonight before getting on a jet plane back to LA for Oscar Week mayhem tomorrow ;) xo
